By booking a tour with Lucent Passage or using our website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

3.1 Reservation Requirements

• All bookings must be made by individuals 18 years or older
• Accurate personal information must be provided
• A valid form of identification is required on tour day

3.2 Payment Terms

• Full payment is required at the time of booking
• Prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and include applicable taxes
• We accept major credit cards and online payment methods
• Group discounts may be available for parties of 6 or more

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Customer Cancellations

• More than 7 days before tour: Full refund minus 5% processing fee
• 3-7 days before tour: 50% refund
• Less than 3 days before tour: No refund

4.2 Company Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel tours due to weather, safety concerns, or insufficient bookings. In such cases, customers will receive a full refund or alternative tour date.

5. Tour Participation

5.1 Health and Safety Requirements

• Participants must be in reasonable physical condition
• Pregnant women and individuals with heart conditions should consult a doctor before participating
• Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
• Swimming ability is recommended for water-based activities

5.2 Participant Responsibilities

• Follow all safety instructions from guides
• Arrive at designated meeting points on time
• Respect local customs and environment
• Not engage in illegal activities during tours

• Personal travel insurance

7. Limitation of Liability

Lucent Passage's liability is limited to the tour price paid. We are not responsible for:

• Acts of nature, weather conditions, or force majeure events
• Third-party services or accommodations
• Personal injury due to participant negligence
• Lost or damaged personal belongings

8. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover medical expenses, trip cancellations, and personal belongings. Lucent Passage is not responsible for costs related to medical emergencies or evacuations.

9. Photography and Media

By participating in our tours, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be included in marketing materials, please inform your guide.

10. Environmental Responsibility

Participants are expected to respect the natural environment and local communities. Any damage to coral reefs, wildlife, or property may result in additional charges and tour termination.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or pandemic-related closures.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms will be governed by Malaysian law and resolved through the courts of Malaysia. We encourage customers to contact us directly to resolve any concerns before pursuing legal action.
